Job Opportunity – Multispecialty Ultrasound/Echocardiography Technologist – New York
Start Date: June 29, 2026
Location: Plainview, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Days with on-call coverage required (weeknights 5pm-8am Monday-Friday; 24 hours Saturday and Sunday)
Highlights:
- Multispecialty position covering general ultrasound, fetal/OB imaging, breast, vascular, and adult echocardiography
- 49-bed short-term acute care facility with Level IV Trauma designation
- Work with diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
- Epic charting system with 3-room department setup
- Reduced non-billable orientation (0 hours versus standard 40 hours)
- Free parking and interdisciplinary radiology support
Requirements:
- ARDMS, ARDMS VT, CCI, or RDCS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an ultrasound/echo technologist
- Comprehensive multispecialty experience required: general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound (all trimesters), OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular studies, and adult echocardiography
- Proficiency in contrast echo and echo stress treadmill testing required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Valid state license (compact license accepted)
