Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team!

Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care and nursing support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or licensed healthcare provider. This role is responsible for administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, maintaining accurate medical documentation, and assisting with daily patient care activities in a clinical or healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
• Completion of an approved medication administration course required
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Knowledge of practical nursing procedures, pharmacology, patient care practices, and medical terminology
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations, patient confidentiality standards, and healthcare compliance requirements
• Ability to accurately document patient information and maintain detailed medical records
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to recognize emergency or unusual patient conditions and respond appropriately
• Proficiency in the use of medical equipment and healthcare documentation systems
• Physical ability to assist, reposition, or restrain patients when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• IV Therapy certification preferred for candidates administering dialysis treatments
• Previous experience in a hospital, behavioral health, clinic, long-term care, or healthcare facility setting preferred
