Job Summary

The Mechanic performs basic preventative maintenance and general repairs to support daily production operations. This role follows all company policies related to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

This position does not require direct communication with customers or external representatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform brake assembly
• Use basic hand tools safely and effectively
• Operate equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, and tire machines
• Assemble and disassemble axles
• Install and remove tire assemblies from trailers
• Perform basic torch work
• Troubleshoot basic air and electrical systems
• Install and remove decking and rear-end components
• Use BOM viewer (basic knowledge required)
• Safely handle equipment, including basic rigging
• Operate light test scanners

Requirements & Skills

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Ability to follow instructions and solve routine problems
• Basic computer skills (file navigation, internet use)
• Strong attention to safety and quality
• Dependable with good attendance
