Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday-Friday + Overtime

• We're looking for a skilled Manual Machinist / Mechanic to join our team. This is a hands-on role working on pumps, gearboxes, and industrial/marine equipment, where your machining and mechanical skills will be put to use every day.

What You'll Do:

• Operate manual machining equipment including engine lathes, horizontal lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses

• Machine and fabricate precision parts to tight tolerances (±.001)

• Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble industrial equipment (pumps, shafts, fans, gearboxes)

• Perform mechanical rebuilds on rotating equipment

• Take precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and vibration tools

• Read and interpret blueprints and create sketches/prints as needed

• Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, meggers, and Baker instruments

• Safely operate overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and lift equipment

• Maintain accurate records and adhere to shop safety standards

• Collaborate with the team to solve customer equipment challenges

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in manual machining or mechanical repair (or equivalent training)

• Strong ability to read blueprints and precision measuring tools

• Experience working with tight tolerances and precision parts

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a machine shop, motor shop, tool & die, or similar environment

• Welding and fabrication skills

• Experience with metalizing equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
