Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

  • Perform respiratory therapy procedures in the NICU and manage airway devices effectively.
  • \n
  • Administer medications using various delivery systems, including inhaled Flolan and steroids.
  • \n
  • Manage diverse ventilator settings such as BiPAP and CPAP, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • \n
  • Conduct ABG interpretation and basic EKG analysis to support treatment decisions.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care across different age groups.
  • \n
  • Float to different campuses and adapt to various clinical settings as needed.
  • \n
Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Valid WA Respiratory Therapist License and current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS.
  • \n
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, with NICU experience required.
  • \n
  • Proficient in ventilator systems such as Draeger and Servo I, with troubleshooting capabilities.
  • \n
  • Experience in pediatric, adult, and geriatric care with a focus on critical care settings.
  • \n
  • Strong skills in medication administration and interpretation of clinical data.
  • \n
  • Experience with EPIC charting system and patient management software preferred.
