Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Unit
Location: Petoskey, MI
Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Duration: 8 to 12 weeks
Compensation: $1939 - $2336 | Shift: 3x12 nights

Join our organization’s Cardiovascular Unit, where your skills will play a vital role in the treatment of over 4,000 patients each year. As an essential member of the Cardiovascular Unit, you will apply your clinical expertise to assess and manage patient responses to various medical conditions. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with a specialized team on procedures such as PTCA, stent placements, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers, along with caring for patients experiencing congestive heart failure and undergoing electrophysiology studies.
- Deliver exceptional care to patients recovering from open-heart surgery
- Work alongside the NISUS research team on national clinical trials
- Assist in similar units as required
- Follow a strict attendance policy
- Comply with the facility’s standards for patient care and safety
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience
- Experience with EKG interpretation
- Willingness to assist in similar units as needed
- Valid Michigan RN license (verification required)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Completion of skills checklist within one year of application
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar setting
