American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a hospital Birthing Unit, requiring circulating experience and night shift availability.
Details- Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week, 3 shifts per week
- Hospital-based Obstetrics Birthing Unit setting
- No on-call responsibilities
- Epic EMR required
- Active MA RN license required; temporary MA license accepted
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
- Circulating experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) at intermediate level or above
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and full Social Security Number required for consideration
- COVID vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions accepted with documentation
- Preferred certifications include Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics (ALSO), Perinatal NCC Certifications (Maternal Newborn Nursing Level I, Postpartum, or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing - Labor and Birth), and First Latch breastfeeding certification
- No scrub color requirement; blue is recommended
- Former permanent staff at this facility are not eligible to return as travelers
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days during the assignment
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible at a reduced pay rate
