Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in New Lenox, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Schedule:
• 12-Hour Night Shifts

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care for Med Surg and Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry readings
• Administer cardiac drips and medications
• Care for post-surgical patients
• Coordinate and deliver patient care while maintaining nursing standards
• Supervise CNAs/SNAs and other healthcare staff as assigned

Required Experience:
• Minimum 4 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Step-Down experience required
• Experience reading cardiac monitors and managing cardiac drips
• Post-surgical patient care experience required
• Experience with Adult and Geriatric patient populations

Required Certifications & Licensure:
• Active Illinois RN License
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Current Illinois Nurse Agency Certificate (must be included with submission)

Additional Details:
• Must be fully COVID vaccinated
• Strong telemetry and step-down skills required
