Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with arterial line experience and recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience for a day/night rotation position requiring BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details\n

• ICU position within a hospital setting
\n
• Day/night rotation required
\n
• Care for critically ill patients including post-surgical, ventilated, and hemodynamically complex cases
\n
• Patients may require arterial lines, PA lines, pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications
\n
• Procedures and monitoring may include ICP monitoring, ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, EVDs, PA line waveform interpretation, and assist with line insertion and maintenance
\n
• Management of lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active NH or Compact RN license required
\n
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
\n
• Arterial line experience required
\n
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
\n
• Critical care / ICU experience required
\n
• Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring preferred
\n
• Experience with ventilated patients preferred
\n
• Experience with pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications preferred
\n
• 2 references from managers required for consideration
\n

Additional Information\n

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
\n
• Preferred specialty experience includes SICU, NCCU, CVCC, and PICU settings
