General Surgery Locum

Our organization is currently collaborating with a healthcare facility in Georgia that is seeking a general surgeon for locum tenens coverage. There are recurring dates available, and we offer a competitive daily compensation along with hourly incentives. Job Details

• • Board Certification required
  • Active Georgia medical license
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Emergency room call coverage
    • Consultations
    • Surgical follow-ups
    • Clinic duties
  • Full-time position starting January 2026: Monday to Friday for office and surgical duties, weekend call, 7 days on and 7 days off, with shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM
  • Proficiency in upper and lower scopes is necessary
  • ACLS certification required
  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically Meditech
  • Support staff includes: Registered Nurses and Emergency Room team
