Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $25.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Limited Medical Radiology Technologist to join a fast-paced, high-quality healthcare environment in Houston, TX. This role is ideal for a technologist who is confident performing diagnostic imaging procedures, committed to patient safety, and thrives in a collaborative clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients to ensure high-quality imaging and patient comfort
• Accurately enter patient demographics and exam details into PACS/EMR systems
• Transfer and verify images for physician interpretation
• Ensure all imaging equipment is functioning properly; perform routine quality control checks
• Follow all radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and self
• Maintain accurate documentation and charge entry at the time of service
• Monitor and manage imaging supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to support efficient patient care and workflow
• Assist with gathering prior imaging and reports for continuity of care
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism
• Support department operations and assist with additional duties as assigned, including coverage at satellite locations if needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited Limited Medical Radiology Technologist program
• Current LMRT certification (Texas Medical Board) required
• Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety
• Experience with PACS/EMR systems preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
