MayTec-Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to operate manual milling machines in a hands-on, fast-paced shop environment. Under general supervision, this role is responsible for setting up and running manual milling equipment according to project specifications while maintaining accuracy, safety, and quality standards.

Machinist Job Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Pay Rate: $25/hour

Machinist Job Description:

Perform all manual machine operations (Bridgeport), including setup and manual job execution

Assist with saw operations as needed

Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and ensure machines run efficiently

Perform routine machine maintenance, including blade and part replacement

Safely operate a forklift for loading/unloading shipments and moving materials

Support general shop operations and complete other duties as assigned

Machinist Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

3–5 years of machinist experience in a machine shop preferred

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong mechanical aptitude and measurement skills, including metric system familiarity
