What You’ll Do
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you’ll play a vital role in delivering accurate diagnostic imaging while ensuring every patient receives exceptional care and compassion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing high-quality ultrasound exams for diagnostic interpretation including vascular, cardiac, abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological and small parts imaging
- Assisting with specialized procedures such as biopsies when needed
- Maintaining a clean sterile environment, properly managing the imaging equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance
- Verifying patient identity and explaining procedures clearly to patients and families to create a comfortable, reassuring experience
- Accurately documenting studies and completing required records
- Safely transporting patients to and from the exam room using proper body mechanics
- Supporting onboarding and training efforts for new team members
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program or equivalent demonstrated expertise to meet department standards
- ARDMS or CCI certification in at least one specialty or registry-eligible (certification must be obtained within one year of hire)
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
- At least one year of hospital-based experience preferred
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills, dependable, performs well under pressure and committed to patient-centered care
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, move, and position patients safely
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform occasional bending and walking
