Position Summary
We’re hiring a skilled, dependable Handyman to perform a range of repair, maintenance and light remodeling tasks for residential clients. The ideal candidate is experienced across multiple trades, customer-facing, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general home repairs and maintenance: drywall repair, painting, carpentry, trim and door adjustments, flooring repairs, tile repair, minor plumbing and electrical work (within local code and license restrictions), caulking, and weatherproofing.
• Install fixtures and hardware: shelving, mirrors, lighting fixtures, window treatments, cabinet hardware, locks.
• Complete small remodeling tasks: backsplashes, laminate installation, bathroom fixture swaps, countertop repairs.
• Diagnose issues, provide accurate time and materials estimates, and recommend durable solutions.
• Maintain clean, safe work sites and ensure proper disposal of debris.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with homeowners and office staff; follow company scheduling and documentation procedures.
• Keep tools well-maintained and stocked.
• Adhere to safety protocols, local building codes, and permit requirements. Escalate jobs requiring licensed contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in residential repair/maintenance or related trades.
• Broad skills across carpentry, painting, basic plumbing and electrical, drywall, and tile work.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Own basic hand and power tools; company tool/vehicle provided or supplemented depending on role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; professional demeanor.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and perform physical tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification or vocational training a plus.
• Background check required; relevant licenses/certifications a plus (e.g., EPA lead-safe, HVAC, electrician/plumber license where applicable).
