Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Generate leads and appointments that convert into sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners, including:
- Production and custom home builders
- Construction managers
- Interior designers
- Landscape architects
- Architectural firms
- Commercial developers and project managers
- Present and promote products and solutions to potential partners and clients.
- Negotiate partnership terms and collaboration opportunities to expand business reach.
- Partner closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and growth of new accounts.
- Track and manage all outreach, opportunities, and follow-ups using CRM and spreadsheets.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, appointments, and results.
- Represent the company professionally at networking events, presentations, and meetings.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, B2B/C sales, or related roles.
- Contacts in the new construction industry is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to generate leads, book appointments, and develop lasting partnerships.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven with excellent follow-up abilities.
- Experience working with or selling to builders, designers, architects, or commercial clients is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with high-level business leaders and internal sales teams.
- Proficiency in CRM software and spreadsheet management preferred.
