Job Description

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a growing painting company out of Ottawa IL in search of a skilled painter to join the growing team. The ideal candidate would come with 3-5 years proven experience in painting. Urgently Hiring! Apply Today!

Pay:

$20.00-$25.00/HR

Schedule:

Monday - Friday. 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends.

Job Duties:

Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching holes, caulking, and applying primers
Apply paint, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment on interior and exterior surfaces
Work on a variety of projects including homes, apartments, offices, and commercial buildings
Mix and match paints to achieve proper color, texture, and finish according to specifications
Protect surrounding areas by masking, covering, and maintaining clean workspaces
Repair drywall, plaster, and minor surface imperfections prior to painting
Operate ladders, scaffolding, and lifts safely while working at heights
Follow safety standards and proper handling of paints, solvents, and equipment
Inspect completed work to ensure quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction
Communicate with clients, supervisors, or contractors to meet project timelines and expectations
