Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Driver/ Logistics Associate works in Shipping and Receiving and is responsible for conducting daily delivery and pick-up service of customer parts and assemblies to and from the company facility. This role balances active driving duties with hands-on warehouse support, ensuring that all products are transported safely and professionally. Routine tasks that do not involve driving include but are not limited to the following: coordination of proper sales order documentation, labeling, packing, loading/unloading of customer products; receipt of client and company third-party ordered/shipped product; material handling, shipping, storage, and transportation of finished customer orders.

Duties and Responsibilities
The individual in this position is expected to engage in the following work-related activities.
•
Strictly adhere to all company EH&S, QMS, HR, and facility protocols and procedures
•
Wearing and usage of company-provided PPE, company uniform, and/or cleanroom apparel as appropriate
•
Execute daily routes for the pick-up and delivery of customer parts and assemblies, ensuring timely, professional service, and safe transportation
•
Oversee incoming and outgoing activities to ensure accuracy, completeness of customer shipments
•
Utilize, shipping methods and loading/unloading operations to expedite workflow and maintain compliance with customer specifications while following designated shipping priorities established by Logistics Lead and/or Production Supervisor
•
Inspect and electronically check-in incoming materials and notifying appropriate staff of potential quality issues
•
Perform final inspection of outgoing customer parts prior to packaging and shipping
•
Direct placement of shipments to appropriate work areas through standard material handling techniques and methods, including use of pallet jack, carts, and forklifts as needed
•
Demonstrate responsibility and accountability for organization, cleanliness, compliance, and maintenance of shipping/receiving area and other work areas and facilities
•
Assist with any/all additional tasks as assigned by management
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and be open to shift work
•
Dependability and good attendance working assigned shifts
•
Demonstrate ambition to complete tasks in accordance with customer requirements
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The following qualifications are required to perform the essential functions of this position.
•
Must be a U.S. Citizen or legally permitted to work in the United States
•
High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate
•
Must possess a valid state driver’s license and clear motor vehicle report
•
Must be able to pass DOT examination
•
Forklift certification preferred (company will provide training if forklift certification is required)
•
Ability to work extended hours when required
•
Mechanical understanding and awareness
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•
Ability to work while standing or sitting extended periods of time within an 8-hour shift
•
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
•
Ability to tolerate hold and cold temperature working environments while wearing PPE when required
