Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for an OR position at a Level III Trauma facility in Beckley, WV, with call requirements and multi-specialty surgical experience.
Details
- Located in the Operating Room of a Level III Trauma hospital in Beckley, WV
- Serves as RN Circulator across multiple surgical specialties including General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and da Vinci Robotic Surgery
- Facility operates 7 OR rooms and serves patients of all ages
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Call requirements include 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month, with every-other-weekend coverage as needed
- Interdepartmental floating required on an as-needed basis
- 13-week contract
- EMR: Meditech
Requirements
- Active WV or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications (AHA): BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
- Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required
- Circulating experience in General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and da Vinci Robotic Surgery specialties required
- OR scrub/circulator experience preferred
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided by the facility; casual wear and other facility-branded attire are not permitted
- Orientation is held biweekly on Wednesdays
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Travelers who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
