• $33.00–$38.00/hr during 1st shift training
• +10% shift differential once moved to 2nd shift
• $36.30–$41.80/hr on 2nd shift

Shift Details

• Training Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) for ~90 days
• Permanent Shift: 2nd Shift (4:00 PM – 2:30 AM)
• Early transition available for highly experienced machinists
• Conversions to permanent typically around 90 days

What You’ll Do

You’ll be working on large-scale, high-value components where your experience truly makes a difference:

• Set up and operate large CNC Horizontal Boring Mills (HBMs)
• Machine critical components to tight tolerances
• Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specs
• Select tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies for large parts
• Optimize feeds, speeds, and machining methods for efficiency
• Perform inspections using precision measurement tools
• Troubleshoot machining and process issues independently
• Partner with Engineering & Quality teams to ensure first-time-right results

This is high-level machining — not button-pushing.

What You Bring

• 5–7+ years CNC machining experience (heavy industrial preferred)
• Strong hands-on experience with HBMs
• Ability to machine large, precision components
• Advanced blueprint reading + GD&T expertise
• Experience with alloy, carbon, stainless steels & large forgings
• Self-starter with strong troubleshooting ability

Safety & PPE

• Steel/safety toe boots required
• Eye, ear protection & hard hats provided
• No headphones
• Long pants required
• No loose clothing or hoodies

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Ability to pass:
• 10-year background check (no felonies within 10 years)
• Drug screening
