About the RoleThe Residential Builder Representative is a field‑based leader responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day activities across multiple single‑family residential jobsites. This role combines technical knowledge, customer interaction, quality control, and jobsite coordination. You will serve as the primary connection between the field and our internal teams, ensuring that each home’s foundation is built safely, accurately, and according to builder expectations.
This position requires excellent communication, strong construction knowledge, and the ability to manage changing priorities across multiple residential sites each day.
What You’ll DoSite Coordination & Planning- Support Account Managers and operations teams with scheduling, readiness checks, and sequencing of work across multiple residential jobsites.
- Confirm that sites are prepared for excavation, footing, foundation, slab, waterproofing, and backfill activities.
- Conduct routine inspections at various stages of the foundation process to monitor progress and identify issues early.
- Ensure work aligns with plans, local building codes, homebuilder standards, and Custom Concrete quality expectations.
- Verify accuracy of elevations, layout, drainage, wall alignment, curing, and material placement.
- Identify deficiencies and direct crews toward corrective action when needed.
- Promote and enforce company safety practices on every jobsite.
- Identify hazards and take corrective action to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel and trade partners.
- Address field challenges such as site access issues, weather impacts, utility conflicts, grade discrepancies, or builder change requests.
- Provide timely and practical solutions that keep the project on schedule.
- Maintain detailed records including inspection notes, site photographs, progress updates, schedule impacts, and change‑related documentation.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with internal teams and builder partners.
- Serve as a professional, responsive point of contact for builders, superintendents, and homeowners when needed.
- Address questions, resolve concerns, and represent Custom Concrete with a high level of service and professionalism.
- Stay familiar with evolving residential foundation techniques, materials, and local permit/code requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency across residential work.
- Support compliance with erosion control plans, site cleanliness, and proper disposal of soil and materials.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in residential construction, foundation work, or field supervision.
- Experience as a superintendent, foreman, project coordinator, or field technician is highly beneficial.
- Strong understanding of residential foundation systems, concrete processes, and construction sequencing.
- Ability to read and interpret residential plans, plot plans, elevations, and site layouts.
- Proficiency with project management tools, tablets, digital field apps, and documentation systems.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with builders, crew members, and internal teams.
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management abilities.
- Working knowledge of residential building codes and safety standards.
- OSHA Construction Safety
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Ability to work outdoors year‑round in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable walking uneven terrain, climbing, bending, and lifting as needed.
