Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for a broad range of adult cardiac surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team in the scrub position during operations.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure safe handling of sharps and instruments.
• Efficiently facilitate room turnover between cases.
• Perform surgical counts and assist with handling solutions and pharmacological agents under registered nurse direction.
• Support a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence in patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• NBSTSA Certification, or a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Surgical Technician.
• At least 2 years of recent experience working in a cardiac OR.
• Proficient in both scrubbing and circulating roles.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
