Job SummaryCuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care utilizing ventilator management and advanced respiratory therapies.
- Perform solo respiratory therapy coverage for a critical access hospital with a trauma-level 4 ED, ICU, and Med/Surg unit.
- Administer respiratory treatments and manage non-invasive ventilation and invasive ventilation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including emergency and intensive care units, for patient care planning.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using Epic charting system.
- Must hold an Oregon state license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Minimum of 3 years of respiratory therapy experience required.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS are required.
- Experience with Draeger and Hamilton ventilators is essential.
- Capability to perform respiratory care for a range of patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
- Experience with Epic charting system is preferred, alongside community and trauma hospital experience.
