American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Beaufort, South Carolina.

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position requiring stepdown/PCU experience and an active SC or compact RN license.
Details- Work in a 29-bed general surgical and orthopedic unit with medical overflow (4T MS unit)
- Patient population includes general surgical, orthopedic, and medical overflow cases
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
- Weekday shifts with every other weekend required
- Floating to the PCU unit is required as needed
- Holiday coverage required as needed
- EMR: Meditech
- Active SC RN license (Standard or Compact) required — must be in hand prior to consideration
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
- Stepdown/PCU experience required due to floating responsibilities
- IV start proficiency required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Clean license and background history required — no hits accepted
- Two professional references required for consideration
- PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
- 13-week contract with possibility of extension
- Travel experience preferred but first-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Royal blue and/or white scrubs required — scrubs are not provided
- Nurses will float to the PCU unit as part of regular assignment responsibilities
