Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

• Provide anesthesia services under medical direction from an Anesthesiologist


• Support expansion of weekend OR coverage including 7 ORs on Saturday (+OB) and 7 ORs on Sunday (+OB)


• Shifts are 10 hours with both day and evening shifts available


• Coverage needed Friday through Monday on a locum tenens basis


• Perform the following types of surgery: Cardiac, Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head/Spine, Neuro, OB, Pediatric, Regional, and Thoracic


• Administer General, Spinal, Epidural, and Regional Anesthesia for adult, pediatric, neonatal, and trauma patients


• Manage obstetrical, neurosurgical, open heart, thoracic, and complex vascular cases


• Perform pain management techniques including post-op epidural and extremity blocks


• Perform epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical, as well as transforaminal procedures


• Utilize x-ray guidance in performance of blocks


• Manage ventilation and evaluation of acute volume/BP issues


• Place central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters


• CRNA supervision required


• Minimum board certification eligible; board certification not required
