Contract | Full-Time, 36 hours per week | Onsite | Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday, 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Variable shifts may be required based on census | Holiday coverage via call with potential assistance required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures including using and building imaging protocols for patients across all age groups, including pediatric, geriatric, and general populations
• Screen patients for contraindications and enforce MRI safety requirements in accordance with ACR and facility protocols, including removal of hazardous metal objects
• Interview and educate patients on MRI procedures, addressing concerns with tact, courtesy, and professionalism
• Monitor patients continuously, both visually and verbally, throughout procedures
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients and coworkers; monitor and report on equipment status and assist with inventory management
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and team members while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate from an accredited two-year college, university, or certificate-based program in a relevant field
• ARRT registration required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 4 months of hire and must be maintained thereafter
• Influenza vaccination required per State of Maine mandate unless a Medical Exemption is provided and approved by Employee Health

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatric and geriatric patients
• Familiarity with MRI protocol development and advanced imaging techniques
