Counter, Warehouse & Delivery Associate Construction Supply

Farrell Equipment & Supply is hiring a Counter, Warehouse & Delivery Associate at our Franklin, WI store. This is a hands-on, on-your-feet role that splits time between the sales counter, the warehouse, and the delivery truck. It's a strong starting point for someone who wants to learn the construction supply business from every angle.

Family-owned since 1968, Farrell Equipment & Supply runs ten construction supply locations across Wisconsin and Minnesota. We sell tools, equipment, fasteners, concrete accessories, safety, and jobsite supplies to professional contractors. We're not a big-box store our customers expect us to know our product and get it to their jobsite when they need it.

What You'll Do

• Work the sales counter help contractors find the right product, build quotes, and process will-calls
• Pull, stage, and load orders in the warehouse with a forklift
• Run local deliveries to contractor jobsites and shops in the company truck
• Receive incoming product, check it against POs, and put it away properly
• Keep the showroom and warehouse organized, stocked, and clean
• Answer incoming calls and handle pricing, availability, and product questions
• Cross-train through the slower winter months pick up product knowledge, system skills, and sales process during the off-season

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
• Forklift experience preferred
• Construction supply, building materials, hardware, lumberyard, or trades background strongly preferred
• Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs throughout the day and working on your feet
• Sharp enough to run a counter terminal and ERP without hand-holding
• Dependable, on-time, and easy to work with this is a small crew
• High school diploma or GED
