Job Description
Currently seeking a Saw Operator for a full-time Permanent position in Woodstock, CT.
Responsibilities of Saw Operator:
-Set-up and operate various manual and automated saws
-Utilize CNC software to program saws
-Monitor machines using gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure proper function
-Optimize foam yield and cutting from foam byproducts
-Identify and resolve root causes for miscuts or over cuts or other issues
-Complete routine and preventative maintenance tasks
-Maintain all records, logs, and reports
-Perform other related tasks as assigned
Requirements of Saw Operator
-Minimum High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
-Trade school or technical training in CNC programming preferred
-Minimum 3 years’ experience in blocking, horizontal, vertical, or CNC Saw machine operation
-Previous CNC Programming experience, WINCAP software preferred
-Able to work independently and as part of a team
-Excellent time management skill
-Organized and able to prioritize in fast-paced environment
-Great verbal and written communication skills
-Able to lift products consistently
Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $23.00-$25.00/hr
