Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various commercial and residential locations while providing excellent customer service by promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns in a professional manner. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, ensuring that deliveries are made in a timely manner. The Delivery Driver will also be expected to handle heavy packages as necessary.

Duties

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Deliver products to designated locations in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
• Utilize route driving skills to follow efficient delivery routes for timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining necessary signatures or documentation.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicle.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner.
• Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roads is essential.
• Strong time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading deliveries.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends as required.
