Responsibilities of the Machine Operator 

• Operate and set up production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Must be capable of operating the case making cell auxiliary equipment will includes the following: 
• in-line slitters
• hot stamps
• labeling
• cutting and date coding .
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
• Fills out all required paperwork and enters receipts qualities in the SAP 
  Requirements of the Machine Operator
• Ability to move around the production floor and sit or stand for the entire shift, based on production needs.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a similar role or related training is preferred.
• Willingness to wear safety glasses and hearing protection during shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexibility to work overtime, including Saturdays, as required.
  
  Compensation/Benefits for the Machine Operator
• Position Type: Temp-to-hire
• Pay: $21/HR with $1.50 shift differential 
• Union dues are required of all non-manager employees on the production floor, including our client's team members. This is $25 a week for the first 4 weeks of work and then drops to $13.20 a week for every week after that.
• Background Check: Conducted upon conversion to full-time employment
• Drug Screen required
• Client will be interviewing for this role 
• Training: 
• Will train on 1st or 3rd shift for 2 weeks then move to 3rd shift and training is complete.
