Flexographic Pressman

Full-Time • 1st Shift • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Overview

Accucon, Incorporated is seeking an experienced Flexographic Pressman to join our 1st shift production team. This is a full-time position offering consistent daytime hours in a professional manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in print quality, works well under deadlines, and brings hands-on flexographic press experience. Experience with Mark Andy and/or Nilpeter presses preferred.

Key Responsibilities

•          Set up and operate flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials

•          Mount and register flexographic plates and dies accurately

•          Mix, match, and adjust ink colors to meet customer specifications

•          Monitor print quality throughout production runs and make real-time adjustments

•          Perform makeready and changeovers between jobs efficiently

•          Conduct routine press maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs

•          Document production data including run speeds, waste, and downtime

•          Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

•          Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules

Qualifications

•          Minimum 5 years of experience operating flexographic printing presses

•          Strong understanding of color theory, registration, and print quality standards

•          Ability to read and interpret job tickets, customer specifications, and production schedules

•          Experience with ink viscosity, anilox rolls, and plate mounting

•          Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic press maintenance

•          Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

•          Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

•          High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: 1st Shift — 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
