Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that our production and facility equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This position requires a proactive approach to preventative maintenance, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all facility and production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, PLCs, AC drives, refrigeration units, and processing/filling equipment.
• Maintain and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding systems as needed.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to complete repairs accurately.
• Work with ammonia refrigeration systems and complete related training.
• Participate in additional training opportunities to continuously expand technical skills.
• Support cross-functional needs by performing other duties as required.
• Take ownership of work quality, maintain clear communication, and contribute to a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred (GED assistance available).
• Strong maintenance background with hands-on experience in electrical repair, PLCs, AC drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding.
• Ability to troubleshoot and service refrigeration equipment, including ammonia systems.
• Must be able to pass a pulmonary function test.
• Excellent communication skills, with a commitment to producing high-quality, reliable work.
• Willingness to cross-train and take on additional responsibilities.
