Location: Lewisville, TX
Base Salary: $82,000–$100,000 annually + incentives
Schedule: Flexible schedule based on client meetings, networking events, and business needs
Employment Type: Full Time / Direct Hire
Work Setup: Primarily field-based (approximately 90% outside the office)
Position Summary
The Business Relationship Manager is responsible for driving new business growth and expanding core deposits through relationship-based sales and business development efforts. This role focuses on building partnerships, generating new business opportunities, and managing client relationships within the banking and financial services industry.
The ideal candidate has strong B2B sales and networking experience, preferably within banking or credit unions, and is comfortable working independently in a highly outbound, field-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Relationship Management
- Develop and grow new business relationships to increase core deposits
- Generate business through networking, referrals, cold calling, and community engagement
- Build partnerships with local businesses and employer groups
- Conduct onsite presentations and client meetings
- Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Meet quarterly sales and performance goals
Sales & Client Support
- Collaborate with internal teams to support onboarding and client experience
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships and promote additional products and services
- Maintain strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers
- Represent the organization at networking events, industry meetings, and community functions
Pipeline & Prospecting
- Utilize company-provided leads and independently develop new prospects
- Manage prospecting activity and follow-up through CRM systems and sales tools
- Maintain organized reporting and activity tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Candidates without a degree must have at least 4 years of relevant B2B sales experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in business banking, business development, or relationship-based sales
- Strong outbound prospecting, networking, and relationship-building experience
- Proven ability to manage and grow business accounts
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
- Banking or credit union experience strongly preferred
Additional Information
- Occasional evenings and weekends required for events and networking activities
- Travel to California may be required up to once per quarter
- Incentive-based compensation structure with quarterly payouts
