Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Myrtle Recovery Centers

Position is located in  Oneida, TN 

 

Oneida-based Myrtle Recovery Centers is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our multidisciplinary team. Experience working with individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) is highly preferred.

This position plays a vital role in helping clients achieve their recovery goals through individualized care planning, advocacy, coordination of services, and clinical support.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the social services team to develop individualized care plans for Myrtle Recovery Centers patients and clients.
  • Assess clients’ medical, psychological, emotional, and social needs through one-on-one interviews and/or on-site visits.
  • Establish client-centered goals and utilize effective tools and interventions to support successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate access to community resources, schedule appointments, and maintain relationships with federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations .
  • Maintain all reports, statistical records, and documentation required by governmental agencies.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies regarding confidentiality, HIPAA, and Code of Conduct.
  • Participate in all required trainings mandated by federal, state, local, and accrediting agencies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational objectives.

 

Required Education

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited college or university required.

 

Required Licensure and Certifications

  • Active and current LCSW license in the State of Tennessee required.
  • CPR certification required or must be obtained within three (3) months of hire.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use disorder (SUD) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of local and private health and welfare agencies, community resources, and support organizations.
  • Ability to make independent clinical judgments and evaluate treatment needs effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, internet usage, and electronic medical records systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and age backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, priorities, and work environments.

 

Physical Demands

  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

 

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Requires working one (1) weekend day per month.
