Job Description

This role supports day-to-day operations at an outdoor automotive lot in West Nashville. You will move vehicles around the property, document inventory, and capture photos of vehicles while working primarily outside in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles safely and efficiently around the lot to designated locations.
• Document vehicle inventory accurately using provided forms or digital tools.
• Take clear and detailed photos of vehicles for records and reporting.
• Inspect vehicles visually to confirm identifying details such as make, model, and condition for documentation purposes.
• Follow all safety procedures while operating vehicles and moving around the lot.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
• Assist with general labor tasks around the yard as needed, such as organizing vehicles and keeping work areas orderly.

Essential Skills

• Ability to safely drive and maneuver vehicles in a lot or yard environment.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions for the full shift.
• Basic ability to document information clearly and accurately.
• Attention to detail when recording inventory and taking photos.
• Reliability and strong work ethic in a physically active, outdoor role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous yard jockey or yard work experience.
• Experience with landscaping or loading tasks.
• Comfort performing physically active work throughout the day.

Work Environment

This position is based at an outdoor automotive lot in West Nashville. You will work primarily outside in all weather conditions, moving between vehicles and different areas of the yard. Work attire should be practical and suitable for outdoor conditions, including sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
