Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

Position OverviewThe Customer Service Representative supports manufacturing and industrial operations by managing customer orders, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate communication between customers, production, and shipping teams. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle a high volume of calls and emails while maintaining accuracy in a fast‑paced production environment.
Essential FunctionsCustomer Service & Order SupportAssist customers with placing orders for manufactured products and provide professional, solutions‑focused support
Recommend appropriate products or materials based on customer specifications and application needs
Manage a high volume of incoming calls and emails from distributors, industrial clients, and production partners
Collaborate with production, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment
Perform order entry, order confirmation, and order status updates
Demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot order or product‑related issues
Maintain strong multitasking, organizational, and time‑management abilities
Travel to industry trade shows as needed
Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive company and customer information
Enter data into accounting and ERP systems with accuracy
Gather, sort, and prepare documents for order processing and production scheduling
Verify transaction details, compute charges or refunds, prepare invoices, and process credit card payments
Identify delinquent accounts or insufficient payments and escalate as needed
Support team goals and assist with additional administrative or operational tasks
Strong organizational skills and accurate data entry abilities
General math proficiency for order quantities, pricing, and product measurements
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting/ERP software
Ability to analyze information and maintain detailed production and order records
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Dependable, productive, and able to maintain professionalism in all interactions
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with production, warehouse, and customer teams
High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred
Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
Experience with QuickBooks or similar software
Familiarity with MISys‑MRP or other manufacturing/inventory management systems preferred
Visual acuity sufficient to perform essential job functions
