Laboratory Technologist (LVN/ MLT/ CLS) | Full Time

We are seeking a Laboratory Technologist to join a mobile laboratory team in San Leandro, CA. This is a full-time permanent opportunity working evening shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Job Details:

• Must be LVN, MLT, or CLS
• Shift: Evenings (Monday–Friday)
• Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
• Pay Range: $26.00 – $32.00/hour Based on experience
• Note: Must pick up and return the mobile lab van each shift.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager, the technologist will perform waived laboratory testing in a mobile setting, ensuring accuracy, quality control, and timely reporting of patient results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process specimens from phlebotomists and couriers
• Perform point-of-care testing (Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Molecular, Coagulation)
• Enter patient data and test orders into lab systems
• Maintain lab equipment and troubleshoot issues
• Manage inventory and documentation for lab supplies
• Follow all safety protocols and compliance standards

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with lab workflows and processes
• State of California requirement: Must qualify as testing personnel (LVN, MLT, or CLS)
• Certification/licensure as required by state
• COVID-19 vaccination required (or approved exemption)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous lab testing and phlebotomy experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
