Job Description
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade for the upcoming academic year. This in-person position allows you to make a tangible difference within a school district, collaborating as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team. You’ll work standard school hours, providing vital psychological services to a diverse student population across the district.
Your expertise will help foster a supportive learning environment and promote student success. With flexible daily schedules (either 8:50 am–3:30 pm or 7:30 am–2:20 pm), you can maintain work-life balance while making a substantial impact during the 2026–2027 school year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist certification (or ability to obtain before the start date)
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working with K–12 students
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
- Commitment to culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Interpret data and provide recommendations to support student development
- Offer consultation to teachers, staff, and families regarding learning, behavior, and mental health needs
- Help develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Foster positive, inclusive learning environments for all students
