Clinic Medical Director Position

Our organization is on the lookout for a dedicated individual to fill the role of Clinic Medical Director within the Family Medicine Residency Program. This key position involves leading all facets of outpatient care services, focusing on both quality enhancement and financial performance at our Family Medicine residency clinic. Additionally, the Medical Director will play a vital role in educating family medicine resident physicians and contributing to the development of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical performance and collaborate with the clinic manager to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and licensing standards.
• Implement, assess, and refine clinic protocols, performance goals, productivity metrics, compliance benchmarks, and workflow strategies.
• Engage in the education of resident physicians and assist in curriculum development.
• Monitor outpatient care services to ensure high-quality patient care.

Position Details

This role is primarily outpatient-focused; however, there is an option for inpatient call or obstetrical care, which can be compensated additionally. This is a full-time, exempt position.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must be a board-certified family physician eligible for licensure in South Dakota. Preferred applicants will have a minimum of five years of clinical outpatient experience.
