American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist specializing in Neuro IR, with required NIHSS certification and Neuro ICU experience, for a 16-week contract.
Details- Neuro Interventional Radiology unit focused on endovascular patients
- Procedures include angiograms, stroke interventions, carotid stents, and aneurysm treatment
- Day shifts of 8 hours, with start times of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Rotational call requirement on both weekdays and weekends
- Holiday coverage on a rotational basis as assigned
- Charting performed in Epic
- 16-week contract
- Active and clear IR Tech license required; license required if applicable
- Current BLS and ACLS required
- NIHSS certification required
- Neuro ICU experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Neuro IR lab preferred
- Radiology and/or IR/Cath Lab experience preferred
- Two completed professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last year required for consideration
- Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Care for endovascular patients undergoing neuro interventional procedures including stroke interventions and aneurysm treatment
- Scrubs provided by the facility
- Holiday shifts are assigned on a rotational basis
