Travel Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) – Nashua, NH

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Technologist) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will independently perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound examinations, providing technically diagnostic studies for interpretation by cardiologists and physicians.

Responsibilities:
Perform adult cardiac ultrasound procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
Produce technically diagnostic echocardiograms for physician interpretation.
Assist cardiologists during invasive ultrasound procedures as needed.
Review physician orders and patient histories to ensure appropriate testing.
Complete all required documentation and charging processes.
Maintain equipment, supplies, and exam rooms.
Follow established clinical protocols, policies, and quality standards.
Communicate professionally with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
Requirements:
✅ Minimum 3 years of Echo Tech experience
✅ Active state license required (if applicable)
✅ ARDMS (AB) or equivalent cardiac sonography credential required
✅ Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program
✅ BLS Certification required

On-Call Requirements:
One week of on-call approximately every 5th–6th week
One rotating hospital holiday annually
Ability to trade call and holiday assignments with supervisor approval

🛏️ 150–500 Bed Facility

Important Notes
Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid.
Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract.
Overtime applies after 40 hours worked per week.
