About the Role:
Join our dedicated team at Cartiers Adult Family Home as an Assistant Manager Caregiver, where you will provide compassionate care to our residents in a warm and inviting environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Supervise and support caregivers to ensure high-quality care and adherence to care plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, promoting their comfort and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance caregiving skills.
- Document resident progress and any changes in health status accurately and promptly.
- Help organize recreational activities to promote social engagement among residents.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies in all caregiving tasks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare support roles is preferred.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards residents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a home-like setting.
- Must be patient, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in caregiving is a plus.
- Background check clearance required for all employees.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
