In your role as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be essential in providing exceptional patient care. You will collaborate with a dedicated team in a 23-bed unit, striving for optimal patient outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering direct patient care with a 1:6 ratio, adjusting to a 1:5 ratio during weekday day shifts
• Assisting in the Progressive Care Unit for Medical-Surgical assignments as required
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation through the EPIC charting system
• Following trauma level 3 protocols and procedures
• Working with the healthcare team to create and execute patient care plans

To qualify for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

• Valid RN license
• BLS (AHA or ARC) and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting
• Willingness to work every other weekend and up to 2 additional mandatory shifts every 6 weeks
