Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active New York State Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency with patient evaluations, plan of care development, and skilled therapeutic interventions in a geriatric population preferred.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
