Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with CT/X-ray licensure and BLS certification to cover both modalities at a Florida hospital's freestanding ED.
Details
- Work in an 11-bed unit within a freestanding emergency department
- Coverage extends to both the FSED and the main hospital facility
- Uses GE imaging equipment
- Documentation via Meditech
- Monday-Friday schedule, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- No call requirements
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Current BLS certification
- CT and X-ray license required if applicable
- Minimum 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the specialty
- Able to work independently
- Proficient in both CT and X-ray modalities
- No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform CT exams including head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, PE, and stroke protocols
- Perform X-ray exams including chest, abdomen, extremities, spine, and head
- Black scrub color required
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions
