Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ED, inpatient, and outpatient experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a travel assignment in New Orleans, LA.
Details
- Hospital-based CT department serving ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- Candidate is expected to float between the ED, main campus, outpatient, and clinics within walking distance of the main campus
- Uses GE CT equipment; GE experience is required
- Charting is done in Epic; Epic experience is required
- Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM (5x8-hour day shifts)
- Holiday coverage is required if a scheduled workday falls on a holiday
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Current BLS (AHA) required
- ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT experience required
- Proficiency with GE CT equipment required
- Epic EMR experience required
- License required if applicable
- Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- This position is located in a region commonly impacted by hurricanes; upon starting, the unit manager may assign travelers to an emergency team with an expectation to shelter in place or participate in storm relief efforts
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
- All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
