Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy, Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in the Level 3 NICU setting using neonatal oscillating vents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed.
• Orientate students and new hires when necessary.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements, including CRT or RRT certification.
• Adapt to varying census and float through all hospital areas, including NICU and Pediatric units.

Qualifications

• Must possess 2 years of experience in a Level 2 Trauma setting.
• Experience with Draeger Vent and neonatal care in a Level 3 NICU required.
• CT state license and certifications including BLS, and CRT or RRT are required.
• Travel experience essential; high adaptability and flexibility are necessary.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as per schedule.
