Maintenance Technician 2nd shift - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading logistics and distribution organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2nd shift to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician 2nd shift, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Distribution Center operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician 2nd shift

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Pay Range: $22-24 DOE

Shift: Monday – Friday 3PM - 11PM

What's the Job?

• Perform moderate to complex technical maintenance and repairs on distribution center mechanical/electrical equipment
• Replace motors and gear reducers, troubleshoot 3-phase motor controls, and work on conveyor systems
• Maintain and repair warehouse machinery such as tape machines, shrink wrap machines, and pick carts
• Maintain forklifts and other warehouse vehicles, ensuring safety and operational efficiency
• Assist with infrastructure maintenance including electrical and plumbing tasks, and operate scissor lifts up to 30 feet

What's Needed?

• Five years of experience in technical maintenance, contracting, or an equivalent role
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting manuals for machinery repair and maintenance
• Ability to operate powered tools, equipment, and machinery safely and effectively
• Knowledge of 3-phase motor controls and troubleshooting techniques
• Basic carpentry, welding, and plumbing skills, along with problem-solving aptitude
