Mechanical Assembler

Position Overview

We are seeking a Production Assembler I to perform precision mechanical and electromechanical assembly in a controlled manufacturing environment. This role involves working with small components, following detailed instructions, and ensuring high-quality assembly standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and shop traveler route cards
• Assemble precision parts such as ceramic boards, crystals, pins, and fine wires using microscopes and tweezers
• Align, adjust, and solder fine wires to components
• Bond and seal assemblies using epoxies and heat-based processes
• Conduct basic in-process testing to ensure product quality
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain consistent attendance and support overtime or weekend work as needed

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of assembly experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong communication skills
• Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace manufacturing experience
• Sewing or fine-detail assembly experience
• Basic troubleshooting skills

• Problem-solving skills using established procedures
• Effective verbal and written communication

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus
