Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) is needed in Hilo, Hawaii. This position involves performing routine CT scans independently according to radiologist protocols, utilizing Meditech electronic medical records, and working with Canon or Toshiba CT units. Candidates must bring their license on the first day to ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
Job Details:
- Location: Hilo, Hawaii
- Required Qualifications: Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer; ARRT certification in Computed Tomography; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; a minimum of two (2) years' work experience in an acute hospital setting; ability to perform CT scans per radiologist protocols and function independently without supervision; experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred; experience with venipuncture, MIP, MPR, 3D imaging procedures, biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke is a plus.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must arrive the Thursday before start to attend employee health appointment on Friday. Please do not accept the start date if unable to be there on time. Position urgency is normal.
