Chief Medical Officer - FQHC

A New York City health services organization is actively seeking a licensed Physician to join their team in Manhattan as their Chief Medical Officer.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a reduced patient panel
• Partnering with CEO and board for goal development
• Leading transition to value-based care
• Providing oversight for medical providers
• Establishing clinical guidelines
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Medical Director
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
• Board Eligible/Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Pediatrics
• Experience in a Leadership role within a healthcare setting
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities

Desired Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Experience in Community Health
• Experience working within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
